River

Stripes are an eternally relevant motif - timeless, elegant and versatile. The River throw is all that and more, of course. The graphic pattern suits most interiors, and the exceptionally light and delicate weave with its soft surface makes the throw the obvious choice when you both need to keep warm and enjoy wrapping yourself in a material that doesn't feel heavy, yet hugs your body tightly and securely. The throw comes in a delicate light grey combined with an ivory white that further adds to the feeling of understated luxury.

River is woven from a blend of recycled alpaca and sheep's wool, and this special combination of fibres makes it lightweight, durable and soft at the same time. The recycled wool is processed at our local supplier in Peru, which means that the wool comes from other productions and would otherwise be considered waste. By pulling the wool apart, the original fibres emerge and new yarn can be spun and woven into new textiles. In this way, Elvang helps to utilise already existing resources that, instead of being discarded, are given new life with us.
